The Place du Bouffay
Thanks to its medieval heritage, Malestroit is one of the five communes in Morbihan to have been awarded the label “Petite Cité de Caractère” (along with Josselin, Guéméné-sur-Scorff, Rochefort-en-Terre and La Roche-Bernard). The Place du Bouffay is an excellent starting point for your visit to the village. In a flowery and sunny setting, you can admire the remarkably well-preserved half-timbered houses from the 15th and 16th centuries. This square also houses a tourist office open every day in July and August.
