L’equit’anime – Malansac: a baby pony club to learn about horse riding

Suzanne Langlois is a keen horsewoman and has opened a baby pony club to introduce children to the pleasures of horse riding from an early age. Thanks to the acquisition of an old dairy farm of 8 ha, her project took shape by making the place official with a new sign " l'Equit'anime -Malansac ".

Today, it is the only horse farm offering an early introduction to horse riding (from 18 months). Since its opening in March 2019, Equit'anime - Malansac has been organising introductory horse riding courses every summer. The pony rides are a perfect complement to the outdoor activities and will give your children an exciting adventure.

Equit’anime – Malansac offers a riding club for children from 18 months to 8 years to develop their complicity with horses. Suzanne Langlois lets your little ones approach the animal freely and thus facilitates their connection. Thanks to a playful teaching, each riding session is transformed into a recreational moment.

If you are staying in Malansac for a while, this is the opportunity to enrol your child in the introductory horse riding programme. In 10 sessions, he will develop his self-confidence, his motor skills and his concentration.

An individual or group riding session

In parallel with the individual sessions, Equit’anime offers group riding lessons, where each child is assisted by an instructor during the riding session. If you wish to opt for a private lesson, Equit’anime also offers a tailor-made programme with advanced courses. In this respect, the individual course is perfectly adapted to future competitors who wish to progress quickly in order to optimise their level.

Activities offered during the course

The Equit’anime – Malansac equestrian club allows your child to get to know the pony and their little world. Apart from the riding lessons, the course also includes pony care, grooming, brushing and saddling. The instructor will take the little riders on a tour of the stables and give them a few tips on feeding and horse breeds.

Of course, the activities offered to the children will depend on their age, their level and their independence. When the weather permits, the little trainees can enjoy the outdoor activities, not forgetting the Sunday rides.

The outdoor services of Equit’anime

Suzanne Langlois also offers personalised services according to the needs of her clients. If Equitanime – Malansac plans animations all summer long, Suzanne Langlois’ team can also go outside to animate your festivities: birthdays, family parties and incentives.

Whether you want a full day or half day service, the Equitanime team can travel with two ponies to provide fun activities. For the occasion, they can offer acrobatic games, dressage demonstrations or even a pony ride for the little guests. A reservation will be made in advance in order to plan your events.

Equit’anime – Malansac opens its doors to all families wishing to know more about the baby pony club. In order to register your child for a riding workshop, you must contact the centre to reserve a place. Every Saturday and Sunday, the workshops take place between 10am-11.30am and 2pm-5pm.
