To recharge your batteries for a day, board a boat that will take you from the coast of Brittany to the landing stage of the Île-aux-Moines in just a few minutes. Once there, you can walk along the beautiful wooded beaches, stroll through the village or admire the Île Brannec from the point of the same name. Are you in a sporting mood? Let’s go for the complete tour of the Île-aux-Moines! This coastal trail runs along the Atlantic Ocean for 17 kilometres. Some sections of the circuit depart from the coastline, offering magnificent views of the land. It is a 5.5 hour loop, unmarked, but marked with information posts. The start of the trail is at the landing stage in the port of Toulindac.

Ile-aux-Moines, the largest island in the Gulf of Morbihan, has been inhabited since the Neolithic period! This place therefore conceals a rich and varied architectural heritage, to be discovered during a stroll with family, friends or as a couple. With a tourist map (downloadable below), follow the green signposted path along the Bois d’Amour and the Lério fountain from the port. Once in the village, have fun looking for the menhir which is south of the town hall! Then, head for the south of the island with the blue circuit, which leads to the Er Boglieux dolmen after a diversion via the Kerno dolmen and the Guip fountain.

Are you a lover of wild and preserved nature? Head for the island of Arz! Although it is the second most populated island in the Gulf of Morbihan, this green islet looks like the end of the world. You can get there in 15 minutes from Vannes, in 20 minutes from Séné and in 30 minutes from Kerners. Connections are also possible from Port Navalo (1 hour crossing) and Locmariaquer (1h25 crossing). A real oasis of greenery to the east of the Île-aux-Moines, the Île d’Arz is a paradise for walkers, photographers and artists.
